The Bolshoi Wind Quintet has released a Victory Day video: a half-hour programme based on Nikolai Popov’s A Frontline Diary.
The programme includes Matvei Blanter’s Katyusha, with Bolshoi mezzo-soprano Svetlana Shilova singing the solo part, as well as Nikolai Popov’s arrangement of Blanter’s Song of the War Correspondents.
